Content Creator & Founder Ghostwriter

New York or Remote · Full-time · Reports to Founder & CEO

Own the voice behind Revley. Turn our vision, product, demos, features, and founder point of view into daily content that earns attention from e-commerce founders and operators.

About Revley

Autonomous commerce starts here.

A merchant should be able to describe a store and have it exist—landing page, product pages, cart, and checkout—then have the money layer underneath it run without a team watching it. Routing, tokenization, subscriptions, disputes. Agents do the work. The operator signs off on anything that moves money.

Revley is building the operating system for online stores. We start at the foundation—payments and tokenization—and build up through storefront, checkout, subscriptions, multi-processor routing, risk, and the agents that operate all of it. Not a collection of disconnected tools. One system.

The Role

Revley has a big vision and a real product underneath it. We need one person who can make the market understand both.

You will work directly with our founder and product team to own Revley’s creative strategy, founder voice, company voice, and organic distribution. You will turn founder conversations, product demos, features, launches, customer problems, and company-building moments into daily content across X, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

This is not a social-scheduling role, and it is not a production-only role. You own the outcome.

How the work gets made is up to you. Create it yourself, use AI, commission UGC, or hire and direct editors, designers, freelancers, and agencies. What matters is that the work is excellent, ships consistently, reflects the product accurately, and builds a relevant audience.

What You’ll Own

  • Set the creative strategy and editorial direction for both Revley and the founder
  • Build distinct, recognizable founder and company voices—and protect their authenticity
  • Own a daily publishing cadence across X, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Spend time with the founder and product team to uncover sharp ideas, product proof, customer insights, and strong points of view
  • Ghostwrite posts and threads that sound like the founder, not generic corporate content
  • Turn product demos, features, launches, and customer problems into written, visual, and video content made for each platform
  • Develop recurring series and campaigns that make Revley’s product and perspective recognizable
  • Own the complete content system: ideas, briefs, production, approvals, publishing, audience engagement, measurement, and iteration
  • Choose and manage the right production resources—AI tools, UGC creators, editors, designers, freelancers, or agencies
  • Build relationships with e-commerce founders, operators, creators, customers, and relevant communities
  • Use performance data and audience feedback to improve what we say, what we make, and how we distribute it

What We’re Looking For

  • Proof that you have grown a founder, creator, brand, or company account—with clear examples of what you owned and the results
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, interviewing, and editorial judgment
  • The ability to capture another person’s voice and turn unfinished thoughts into clear, compelling content
  • Strong creative strategy and a sharp instinct for what earns attention on X, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • Product curiosity: you can understand how something works, identify what matters, and make it interesting without oversimplifying it
  • The resourcefulness to turn an idea into finished work using whatever production model makes sense
  • The judgment to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy, taste, or trust
  • Comfort working directly with a founder, challenging ideas when needed, and owning results without waiting for detailed instructions
  • A results mindset: you care about audience quality, engagement, conversations, traffic, and demand—not vanity metrics or posting for its own sake

Helpful Experience

  • Founder-led content or executive ghostwriting
  • Organic audience growth for an early-stage company, founder, or creator
  • E-commerce, DTC, SaaS, fintech, AI, or another product-led category
  • Turning product releases and demos into content that drives meaningful attention and demand
  • Building and directing a lean network of creators, editors, designers, or agencies

This Role Is Probably Not for You If

  • You prefer managing a calendar to owning the message and the result
  • You need fully formed briefs before you can move
  • You publish the same content on every platform without adapting it
  • You measure success only by follower count or number of posts

How We’ll Measure Success

  • A clear, recognizable voice and point of view for both the founder and Revley
  • Consistent daily publishing across X, LinkedIn, and Instagram
  • A strong pipeline of content grounded in Revley’s actual vision, product, demos, and features
  • Growth of a relevant audience of e-commerce founders and operators
  • High-quality engagement: saves, shares, thoughtful replies, watch time, and repeat viewers
  • Qualified direct messages, website traffic, demo interest, and other inbound opportunities influenced by content
  • A reliable creative system that moves from idea to published work quickly, regardless of who produces each asset

Why Revley

You will be Revley’s first content hire and define how the company and its founder show up in the market. You will have direct access to the founder, product, demos, customers, and the people building the system. The canvas is open, the raw material is real, and you will own the function—not inherit someone else’s playbook.
